Start	10 AM Start Time Start and Finish at Anchorage Football Stadium Cordova & East 16th, Anchorage
Brief Description of Race	It is a United States Track & Field (USTAF) certified 5-mile course which follows the Chester Creek greenbelt paved trail. You may choose to run or walk. In the 5 mile timed event, awards will be given to age group winners, top male and female finishers, overall cancer survivors winner, and team awards. Both events are open to men, women, children, families.  Teams and Military are encouraged to join. Don't feel like running 5 miler?  We also have a 2-mile walk route.

Additional Information	Please no Pets, rollerblades, bicycles or headphones. Strollers are allowed in the 2-mile walk but not the 5-mile run. Your entry fee and any donation are tax deductible as allowed by law. We are an IRS 501 c3 Corporation, Tax ID# 92-0158284. We use your entry fee to fund educational activities, promote early detection of prostate cancer and provide financial aid to men with cancer. All proceeds stay in Alaska. Alaska Men's Run is an all volunteer organization. All entrants qualify for free prize drawings and t-shirt (as long as supplies last). Free BBQ after the event.

Cost	Minimum suggested donation for registration: Individuals: $35 - Race Day $45 Family of 4: $70 - Race Day $80

Who We Are	We are a non-profit 501 c (3) organization.  All of our board members are volunteers.  Our board meets once a month and would welcome any new members.

Our Goal	Raise funds to provide grants locally.  We will consider any group that provides moral support and information, does research, or any other activities related to prostate and testicular cancer.
