Race Start	9 AM Start and Finish at Skinny Ravens 8th and "H" Street, Anchorage
Brief Description of Race	Open to women, men, kids, families, the event takes place on a closed-loop; it is a United States Track & Field (USTAF) certified 5-mile course. You may choose to run or walk. In the 5 mile timed event, awards will be given to age group winners, masters overall winner and overall cancer survivors winner. Don't feel like running 5 miler?  We also have a 2-mile walk route. Your entry fee to the Alaska Men’s Run is a tax-deductible donation. (Minimum suggested donation $35.) We use your entry fee to fund activities such as research and prostate cancer screening clinics throughout Alaska. Download Brochure - PDF

Who We Are	We are a non-profit 501 c (3) organization.  All of our board members are volunteers.  Our board meets once a month and would welcome any new members.

Our Goal	Raise funds to provide grants locally.  We will consider any group that provides moral support and information, does research, or any other activities related to prostate and testicular cancer.
Grants	Complete and submit grant application by email or mail. Alaska Men Run Grant Form - PDF Grant applications will be accepted from August 27 through December 31, 2009. Applicants will be notified by December 31, 2009 if their grant is approved.
